Venue Hire

Close to the central city at 442 Tuam Street, Christchurch, Revolution Centre offers several options for venue hire. If you need an Auditorium or a meeting rooms or even an office there are several spaces for you. Below are some of the rooms and venue options we have for you but if you need more info please email - contact details below.

If you are a not-for-profit organisation please contact us for special venue hire rates. Hire rates prices all include GST.

AUDITORIUM (max. 230)

The perfect venue for conferences or meetings. Approx 300m2 of rough carpeted floor (new carpet coming shortly for the venue)

Theatre Style Setup: Capacity 150 chairs (add another 80 chairs for $30 extra)

Classroom Style Setup: Capacity 80 chairs.

Whole Day (more than 3 hours): $300

Half Day (3 hours or less): $150

Evening Only (after 7pm): $150

Day & Evening: $400

CONNECT LOUNGE

Ideal room to hire for board meetings or staff meetings. Approx 20m2

Boardroom Style Setup: Capacity 8 stools around a large table.

Sound and TV available. $40 per hire.

Whole Day (more than 3 hours): $130

Half Day (3 hours or less): $70

Evening Only (after 7pm): $70

Day & Evening: $150

OPTIONS

Auditorium Full Sound System Option: This venue option includes very high quality full stage setup, wireless mics, fold-backs, front of house speakers, stage lighting. $400 per hire.
Plus $60 per hour for one of our skilled technicians to operate the equipment (required).

Auditorium Basic Sound System and Projection Option: The venue has sound and projection available - 3.5mm jack audio input, projector D-Sub (15 pin) input, 1 corded microphone. Very high quality speakers. $200 per hire.

 

UPSTAIRS (max. 50)

Great venue for small seminar or classes. Intimate feel but with a decent amount of space. Two heatpumps and lots of good natural light. Sound system and TV available.
Approx. 120m2.

Theatre Style Setup: Capacity 50 chairs.

Classroom: Style Setup: Capacity 20 chairs.

Sound and TV available. $40 per hire.

Whole Day (more than 3 hours): $150

Half Day (3 hours or less): $80

Evening Only (after 7pm): $80

Day & Evening: $180

WEST WING OFFICES

Individual offices that would suit 1-3 people. Approx 16m2. Includes heatpump, great natural light and a desk. Close to town and many amenities. Long term hires for this venue available. Multiple offices available for hire if this suits your organization.

$50 per day or $200 per week.

 

EQUIPMENT

All areas have:

- Chairs available as described

- 10 Trestle tables

- Lectern

- Whiteboard

REFRESHMENTS

Tea & Coffee. $2 per person.

- Includes hot water, milk, instant coffee, teabags & sugar.

EXCITING VENUE NEWS!

We are opening a new area soon that will be available for venue hires. The area is 208m2 and is being fully fitted out as you read this. The new venue has 2 heatpumps, a high stud, a commercial kitchen and looks great. No enquiries yet as the work is not complete, but when it is we’ll post pictures of the room.
