Location and Parking
You will find us at 442 Tuam St, Philipstown, Christchurch. We have plenty of free off-street parking at our location. If the car park is full, you will be able to find parks on nearby streets that still provide easy access to our building.
WORSHIP
Our music is more than just entertainment—it plays a crucial role in preparing our hearts and minds to fully engage with the Word and respond to its message. Our pursuit during musical worship is to bless God’s heart.
Overall, the vibe at our gathering is informal, passionate, and welcoming to everyone. Whether you're a seasoned worshipper or completely new to this, we create an environment where you can feel comfortable and connected.
Teaching
At Revolution, we believe in the transformative power of God's Word as revealed in the Bible. As the Scriptures tell us, faith is ignited through hearing the Word of God. That's why we are committed to teaching and sharing as much of it as we can.
During our gatherings, you can expect engaging sermons that typically last between 25 and 35 minutes. Our passionate and knowledgeable speakers delve into various biblical topics, giving spiritual perspective and providing practical insights.
We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why we make all our teachings readily available online. You can easily access our teachings anytime, anywhere through our podcast or YouTube channel. It's completely free, allowing you to dive into the Word of God at your own convenience.
Children
At Revolution Church, we believe that kids should have an amazing and fun experience every time they come to church. That's why we prioritize creating an engaging and exciting environment for them.
When you arrive, you'll notice our Kids check-in area in the foyer, where you'll be warmly greeted by our dedicated volunteers and/or staff members. They will assist you in registering your children and ensuring they are well taken care of throughout their time with us. Safety is a top priority, which is why we have a thorough check-in process for our kids' programs, especially for first-time visitors.
Our morning activities are thoughtfully designed to provide a balance of fun and learning. Children of ages 2-13, are welcome to participate in our children’s programs, which are available during every Revolution Sunday gathering.
Rest assured that our kids' programs are facilitated by trained and vetted teams who have undergone background checks by the NZ Police. We prioritize creating safe, clean, and enjoyable environments where children can fully engage and learn every Sunday. We are excited to provide your children with a meaningful and enjoyable experience at our gathering.
Our Children’s Programs
Lil Revs
This program is for our 2-5 year olds and is run upstairs on a mezzanine floor. You can sign your child/ren in from 9:45am. Check out is at any time between 11:30-11:45am.
Rev’d Kids
This program is run for our school aged children, years 0-8. Our Rev Kids program starts with our children joining us in the main auditorium for some musical worship.
The children are released from this space after 2 songs to join our Kids Leaders out in The Cave (a room adjacent to the auditorium). Check out from this program is at any time between 11:30-11:45am.
Rev’d Up
This program is run for children who are in year 7-10 at school. Rev’d up is run fortnightly alongside our Sunday gathering and is designed to engage this age group in deeper connection and conversation as they approach their teenage years.
Parents Room and Creche
We understand the needs of parents and their little ones. That's why we have a dedicated parents' room and creche located right next to our main auditorium.
These spaces are specifically designed to cater to the needs of parents, babies, and toddlers. In our parents' room, you will find convenient amenities such as a change table, high chair, and age-appropriate toys. These resources are provided to support you and your family during your time with us, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
We recognize that you may still want to participate in the morning service while attending to your little ones. That's why our parents' room is equipped with a live link to the main gathering in the auditorium. This way, you can stay connected and engaged with the service while taking care of your children.
